Each of our bags is a unique piece, crafted with love in India. Our artisans hand-print the pure cotton fabric using wooden blocks. This process is known as block printing. Subsequently, the bag is embroidered with traditional Kantha stitching and finished with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail and stands out effortlessly from the mainstream.
Fair, eco-friendly, and with a creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, with a matching soft cotton lining. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, crafts these embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production process avoids the use of large machinery, which saves significant amounts of water and electricity. This resource-conscious process reflects the relaxed working environment. We place great value on unique pieces created with love and creative spirit, and which continue to be created – through our support and yours.
Vegan bagsNo animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are hand-printed with wooden stamps. Since the staff applies the Kantha embroidery using cotton thread via sewing machine and the inner section is sewn in by machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-friendly
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The artisans print the motifs and patterns by hand using large wooden stamps and natural, azo-free dyes onto the cotton fabrics. The production uses machines only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing the small business to save a great deal of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
