NATURAL COLORS REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE
Naturally dyed. Naturally not perfectly uniform.
Some of our textiles are finished using plant-based dyes and traditional dyeing techniques. Unlike industrial processes, excess pigment may be released—especially during the first few washes.
We therefore recommend washing the product separately or with similar colors and it is essential to use a color-catcher sheet for the first wash.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR KIKOONI PIECE
1. Before washing: For delicate or hand-dyed fabrics, test the cleaning on an inconspicuous area first. Turn textiles inside out and use a laundry bag if possible. This provides extra protection for the surface, print, and fibers.
2. During washing: Wash at a maximum of 30°C on a delicate cycle and use a mild detergent without bleach, enzymes, or optical brighteners. It is best to wash hand-dyed products separately or with similar colors.
3. After washing: Please do not tumble dry. Let your KIKOONI piece air dry, preferably in the shade. High heat can alter cotton fibers, and direct sunlight can cause colors to fade faster.

SPECIAL CASE BAGS & COSMETIC BAGS
Not every favorite item belongs in the washing machine.
Some of our cosmetic bags have a water-repellent polyester lining. Please do not wash these models in the washing machine, as the coating and fabric structure can be altered.
Instead, gently remove dirt with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

WASH LESS. LOVE LONGER.
Not every piece of clothing needs to be washed after every wear.
Often, it is enough to air out textiles or remove minor stains locally.
This not only saves water and energy, but also protects the fibers, colors, and the artisanal details of your KIKOONI piece.
For us, good care also means: keeping things for as long as possible.

Are you unsure about your product?
