It all began with the joy of traveling.
KIKOONI is the brainchild of Claudia and Adelheid Zähle. For many years, they have traveled together through various regions of the world. While Claudia, as a designer and graphic artist, contributes her eye for colors, materials, and timeless design, Adelheid discovers special places, craft traditions, and people on her travels. These encounters gave rise to KIKOONI.
Many of our long-standing partnerships grew out of chance encounters at markets, in small villages, or with people who have passed down their craft for generations. Initial conversations turned into friendships, friendships into trust – and from that came the collaboration that defines KIKOONI to this day.
