Every one of our bags is a unique piece, lovingly made in India. The artisans print the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden stamps, a process known as block printing. They then adorn the bag with the famous, traditional Kantha embroidery and finish it off with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail and stands out from the mainstream with ease.
Fair, resource-friendly, and full of creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, and the inner lining is made of matching soft cotton fabric. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, crafts these embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production process avoids the use of large machinery, thereby saving significant amounts of water and electricity. This resource-efficient process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. We place great value on unique pieces created with love and a creative spirit, and which continue to be created through our support and yours.
Vegan bagsNo animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are printed by hand with wooden stamps. Since the staff apply the Kantha embroidery using cotton thread on sewing machines and the inner section is sewn in by machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-efficient
The production site relies primarily on the uniquely beautiful block print process, which has a long tradition in Jaipur. The artisans print the motifs and patterns by hand onto the cotton fabrics using large wooden stamps and natural, azo-free dyes. Production uses machinery only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing the small company to save significant amounts of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
