Ceramic soap dish from the "Fustat" district in Egypt. It is said that ceramic work is one of the crafts that most reflects the civilization and development of a country and which began in Egypt in the prehistoric period on the Nile Delta. The craft then flourished in the "Fatimid" district, characterized by colorful decorations and drawings of plants and animals.
Our lovingly painted soap dishes are manufactured by an association for the preservation and maintenance of Egyptian craftsmanship and culture in a cooperation of 28 creative groups spread across the country.
