Best of all: every small cosmetic bag is a unique piece, made with a lot of love in India. The artisans print the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden blocks. This process is called block printing. The outer material is made of pure cotton and the inner lining is made of cotton or waterproof polyester. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, manufactures the embroidered cosmetic bags under fair working conditions. The production process avoids the use of large machinery, which saves large amounts of water and electricity. This resource-saving process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. No animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are hand-printed with a wooden stamp. Since the artisans apply the Kantha embroidery using cotton threads with a sewing machine and sew in the polyester inner part with a sewing machine, the result is a purely vegan product.Resource-friendly
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The artisans print the motifs and patterns onto the cotton fabrics by hand using large wooden stamps with natural, azo-free dyes. The production uses machines only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, so the small business saves a lot of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
