Each of our bags is a unique piece and is made with love in India. The artisans hand-print the pure cotton fabric using wooden stamps, a process known as block printing. They then embroider the bag with the famous and traditional Kantha stitching and finish it with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thought through down to the smallest detail and stands out from the mainstream with effortless style.
Fair, resource-friendly, and with a creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, and the inner lining is made of matching soft cotton fabric. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, crafts these embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production process avoids the use of large machinery, thereby saving large quantities of water and electricity. This resource-saving process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. We place great value on special, one-of-a-kind pieces that were created with love and a creative spirit, and that continue to be created—thanks to our support and yours.
Vegan bagsNo animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are hand-printed with wooden stamps. Because the artisans apply the Kantha embroidery using cotton thread via sewing machine and the interior is sewn with a sewing machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-friendly
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The artisans print the motifs and patterns by hand onto the cotton fabrics using large wooden stamps and natural, azo-free dyes. The production uses machines only to a small extent, such as irons and sewing machines, meaning the small enterprise saves a great deal of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
