Each of our bags is a unique piece, made with great love in India. Our artisans hand-print the pure cotton fabric using wooden blocks. This process is called block printing. Afterwards, the bag is embroidered with the famous and traditional Kantha stitching and finished with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail and stands out effortlessly from the mainstream.
Fair, resource-efficient, and with a creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, and the inner lining is made of matching soft cotton fabric. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, crafts these embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production avoids large-scale machinery, saving significant amounts of water and electricity. This resource-efficient process reflects the relaxed working climate. We place great importance on special, one-of-a-kind pieces created with love and a creative spirit, and we continue to do so with your support.
Vegan bagsNo animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are hand-printed with wooden blocks. Since the staff applies the Kantha embroidery using cotton thread via sewing machines and the interior is sewn in with a sewing machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-efficient
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which has a long tradition in Jaipur. The artisans print the motifs and patterns by hand using large wooden blocks with natural, azo-free dyes. The production uses machines only to a small extent, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing this small enterprise to save much more water and electricity compared to larger production facilities.
