Each of our bags is a unique piece, made with love in India. The artisans print the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden blocks. This process is called block printing. Afterwards, the bag is embroidered with the famous and traditional Kantha embroidery and finished with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thought through down to the smallest detail and stands out from the mainstream with effortless ease.
Fair, resource-friendly, and with a creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, and the inner lining consists of matching soft cotton fabric. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, manufactures the embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production avoids the use of large machinery, which saves significant amounts of water and electricity. This resource-efficient process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. We place great value on unique pieces created with love and a creative spirit, and which continue to be created—thanks to our support and yours.
Vegan bagsIn the manufacturing process, no animal products are used, and the cotton fabrics are hand-printed with wooden stamps. Since the staff applies the Kantha embroidery using cotton thread via sewing machine and the inner part is stitched in with a sewing machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-friendly
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The artisans print the motifs and patterns by hand using large wooden stamps with natural, azo-free dyes onto the cotton fabrics. The production uses machines only to a small extent, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing the small business to save a great deal of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
