Every one of our bags is a unique piece and is made with love in India. The employees print the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden blocks. This process is called block printing. Afterwards, they embroider the bag with the famous, traditional Kantha embroidery and finish it with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thought through to the smallest detail and stands out from the mainstream with effortless lightness.
Fair, resource-friendly, and full of creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, and the inner lining is made of matching soft cotton fabric. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, crafts these embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. Production avoids using large machinery, which saves significant amounts of water and electricity. This resource-friendly process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. Vegan bagsNo animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are printed by hand with a wooden block. Since the staff applies the Kantha embroidery with cotton thread using a sewing machine and the interior is sewn in by machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-friendly
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block print process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The employees print the motifs and patterns by hand onto the cotton fabrics using large wooden blocks and natural, azo-free dyes. Production uses machines only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing the small business to save a lot of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
