Every one of our bags is a unique piece, crafted with love in India. Our staff prints the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden stamps, a process known as block printing. Subsequently, the bag is embroidered with the famous and traditional Kantha embroidery and finished with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail and stands out effortlessly from the mainstream.
Fair, resource-friendly, and with a creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, and the inner lining consists of matching soft cotton fabric. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, manufactures the embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production process avoids the use of heavy machinery, saving large amounts of water and electricity. This resource-efficient process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. We place great importance on special, one-of-a-kind pieces created with love and a creative spirit, and which continue to be created—thanks to our support and yours.
Vegan bagsIn the manufacturing process, no animal products are used, and the cotton fabrics are hand-printed with wooden stamps. Since the staff applies the Kantha embroidery using cotton thread via sewing machine, and the interior is sewn in by machine, a purely vegan product is created.
Resource-friendly
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The staff prints the motifs and patterns by hand onto the cotton fabrics using large wooden stamps and natural, azo-free dyes. The production uses machines only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing the small business to save significant amounts of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
