Each one of our bags is a unique piece, made with love in India. The employees print the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden blocks. This process is known as block printing. Subsequently, the bag is embroidered with the famous and traditional Kantha embroidery and finished with tassel details on the zipper. The bag is thought-out down to the smallest detail and stands out from the mainstream with effortless ease.
Fair, resource-saving, and with a creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, and the inner lining is made of matching soft cotton fabric. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, manufactures the embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production avoids the use of large machinery, which saves significant amounts of water and electricity. This resource-saving process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. We place great value on special, one-of-a-kind items that have been created with love and a creative spirit, and which continue to be created with our and your support.
Vegan bagsNo animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are hand-printed with a wooden block. Since the staff applies the Kantha embroidery using cotton threads on a sewing machine and the interior is sewn in by machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-saving
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The employees print the motifs and patterns onto the cotton fabrics by hand using large wooden stamps and natural, azo-free dyes. Production uses machines only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing the small business to save a lot of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
