Every one of our bags is a unique piece, made with love in India. Our team prints the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden stamps, a process known as block printing. The bags are then embellished with the famous, traditional Kantha embroidery and finished with tassel details on the zipper. Every bag is thought through to the smallest detail, standing out from the mainstream with effortless style.
Fair, resource-friendly, and with a creative spirit
The outer material is made of pure cotton, with a matching soft cotton fabric for the lining. A small production facility in Jaipur, India, creates these embroidered cotton bags under fair working conditions. The production process avoids the use of large machinery, thereby saving significant amounts of water and electricity. This resource-efficient process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. We place great value on special, unique items created with love and creative spirit, and which continue to be created through our support and yours.
Vegan bagsNo animal products are used in the manufacturing process, and the cotton fabrics are printed by hand using wooden stamps. Since the Kantha embroidery is applied with cotton thread using a sewing machine and the inner section is sewn by machine, the result is a purely vegan product.
Resource-efficient
The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is a tradition in Jaipur. The staff prints the motifs and patterns onto the cotton fabrics by hand using large wooden stamps and natural, azo-free dyes. Production uses machinery only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, allowing the small business to save a great deal of water and electricity compared to other large production sites.
