This technique is called block printing or screen printing. They then embroider the bag with the famous and traditional Kantha stitching and finish it off with tassel details on the zipper. The production facility thrives primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which is traditional in Jaipur. The employees print the motifs and patterns onto the cotton fabrics by hand using large wooden blocks with natural, azo-free dyes. The production uses machines only on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, so the small company saves a lot of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
